  2. I’ve found that bringing an actual map with me is a lot better than having to worry about batteries or sattelite signals.

    1. And always bring extra layers and wear enough clothing. It is extremely important to keeping yourself comfortable. So you don’t nag your hunting buddy for an extra jacket because it is going to get cold.

  3. Just a friendly reminder always wear the safety harness and learn how to use the stand before you take it in the woods for your first hunt.

  4. I’ve stopped bringing a sharpening stone instead I bring a havalon knife. It doesn’t need sharpening very often.
